What happened to the guy that invented LLMs?

There's actually eight authors of that paper, if ChatGPT is accurate:

- Ashish Vaswani, Noam Shazeer, Niki Parmar, Jakob Uszkoreit, Llion Jones and Lukasz Kaiser stayed on at Google

- Aidan N. Gomez became a researcher

- Illia Polosukhin co-founded https://near.ai
