Anyone missing the human aspect of pre AI?

Some guy in my city writes poems using a typewriter and his brain. I paid 5 pounds for it and it was one of the best things I’ve read in 2 years.

Maybe I’m just burnt out from all this AI hype and feel the need to speak into the void. 10 years into this career and feeling empty. Between my company ranking employees with AI and doing layoffs using AI, I can’t help but to think this whole thing is a sick joke

The fact that you feel the need to say that here, lets me think you're not well connected. The world is still human you know, 99% of it. It's just this bubble making you think that the concept of an AI song or poetry makes any sense. We feel emotions for empathy, suffer with the artist. A synthetic experience is so delusional it would require an antipsychotic drug to accept
