No it cannot. Left and liberal ideas have lost with no credibility left. Next few decades are of brutal fascism everywhere.

Congress has always been able to stop this sort of thing. Many Congresspeople have been trying. But not enough Congresspeople have made it a priority.

For the instant issue, look at Trump's grip over Republicans. They aren't going to move against the Administration on this whether or not they actually think it's a good idea.
