I'm asking because Canonical replaced gnu coreutils and sudo with rust alternatives

it is still compiled with GLIBC. Alpine, Chimera Linux, use MUSL so aren' GNU/Linux

the guix system fits under the gnu umbrella and uses the linux-libre kernel
