Did anyone else get logged out from HN today?

Question

I opened Hacker News on my phone this morning and saw that I had been signed out. I chalked that up to a transitory one-off thing, especially since I&rsquo;ve been tinkering with the browser on my phone these last few days. No other sites were affected, though.I just grabbed my tablet and opened HN. I was logged out too! I have never seen this happen on this site, and I find it curious that both devices weee affected on the same day.Has this happened to anyone else today?

Yes, I cleared cookies and history on Firefox.I didn't know it was contagious!Sorry! /s

I did - had to log in again to comment, thought it was a little odd, but eh, I see that the user cookie is only set for a year.

Logging out of HN logs you out of every device. I figure they hold some session data server-side that is deleted, so your other sessions are invalidated.Not sure why this is a worth a post; who cares in the grand, medium and small scale of things.
