Any experience with student body cameras for bullying?

I'm wondering if anyone has experience with students using body cameras to protect against or at least prove bullying that is taking place.

I know the laws will vary greatly by jurisdiction. In most cases, the faces of others would need to be blurred and bathrooms/locker rooms would not be recorded. In many places, audio may not be recorded either (2 party consent states). But at least you could see any physical attacks.

Perhaps some of these restrictions are overcome by the camera transmitting to the school system rather than the parents, maybe as part of an IEP requiring a calm/safe environment?

I think it has to start with bullying being treated as unacceptable behavior instead of part of the curriculum. The fact is that it is the latter in the American school system and nothing is going to change until that changes.

Short of that it would be a big help if victims had (a) the right to leave and (b) the right to defend themselves without punishment.
