QR code generator that doesn't require sign up

Question

Every time I have to generate a QR code I have to wade through 10s of spammy apps that ask for your email after you've tried to create a QR code.Does anyone recommend a simple Mac app or web app for generating SVG QR codes where I don't have to sign up?I don't mind paying for a Mac app, but I'm absolutely not signing up for a SAAS for something so simple.

I hate the ones that map your URL to their server and then forward to your URL. Super slimy.
There is a Windows app that works pretty well, but I can't remember what it's called.
It looks like there are Python codes that can help.
