Will AI reduce stigma of geniuses becoming professional chess players?
Perhaps modern AI — and AGI in particular — will lessen society’s sense of loss when a genius chooses chess over mathematics or science.
I dont think there's a stigma here? There is no either or, you can do both. Many examples of people doing both.
