These are likely profiles trying to inflate their contribution history, possibly to use it when applying for jobs.
Unfortunately, GitHub doesn’t give me the option to delete these pull requests, so they’ll stay there forever unless I migrate my code to another platform.

What?? I don't use GitHub so don't know how it works, but I assumed that rejecting pull requests was a thing that was possible. It seems like fundamental functionality.
