Should my initial app testers pay?


I’m building a cursor like email client and want to get my first customers with my mvp. Should i ask for a down payment or have it for free?

It depends upon your goals and projects proficiency to solve real world problem.

Try to make sure it's viable product. If it's, people will pay you, or willing to.

Leave it for free, for some period for Marketing, promotion and testing.
