What's the best oldish (~10 years or so) second hand laptop for travel?

I need to buy a new laptop soon, and want something cheap and second hand for travel. I have an old Latitude but it's pretty clunky and heavy.

I've been looking at an Asus B9 which is about twice as powerful and weighs half as much, but thought there may be better options.

Ideally I'm looking for something that only requires a USB cable to charge, no brick or propitiatory extension, is light weight and has a semi-decent battery life. Being powerful enough to at least run counter-strike on the lowest of settings would be a plus.

The B9 would be a good option. I'm not sure about the USB cable charger, but I assume you’ve checked that already. That being said, the main issue is that the second-hand market is very dependent on where you are, so it is difficult to recommend something that is really an option. It would be better if you shared the ones you can actually find or get delivered to you so we can discuss those.

I've purchased several lenovo thinkpads from ebay over the years, they've all been great, very upgradable, parts are available, cheap.
