How to use AI to detect comment spam?

A total noob here. I'm trying to build my own comment system and spam bots are troubling me a lot. Is it possible to run a small AI model, something like Ollama on a DO droplet!

AI is gonna be overkill for 99.9% of spambots. Use a honeypot or spam detection service that already exists.
