What are the global employment trends?

South Korea's IT market is going through a difficult time due to the ongoing post-COVID-19 economic downturn and government-led R&D budget cuts. Many people around me are losing their jobs or closing their companies (I even got a layoff notice!). I'd like to know what the situation is like in other countries.
