I am looking for a trustworthy hardware shop that sells equipment suitable for home automation. As of today I am interested in wifi-enabled or lan-enabled thermometers that allow capturing temperature data in a natural way (CSV, JSON, ...) and that do not have spyware, tunnels to the provider network and other IoT anti-features. I might be interested as well in network connected "relays" to power on/off heaters or AC units.
Is there a place where we can buy such hacker friendly devices?
