Advice for Parents of an Autistic Child
Hello HN,
I'm a parent of a 4 year-old daughter who was just diagnosed with autism. We've known for a while that something was different about her and have had her in speech and occupational therapy for about a year, but an official diagnosis has been overwhelming. She's a sweet, happy girl and she seems to be developing well, but I wanted to draw on HNs experiences with autism for advice on how to help give her the best life possible. What are things you wish you had known as a parent of an autistic child? What are things you wish your parents had known to help you with your own autism? All advice and thoughts greatly appreciated.
Basic concept is many neurological disorders like autism are caused by leaky gut. You get prescribed drugs that fix leaky gut and neurological development resumes.
