Is YouTube on FF Broken?

For over a month now, Youtube seems broken on Firefox (Linux), namely videos stall randomly even though the time line shows that they've buffered sufficiently. I succumbed to the dark side and am a premium subscriber and run no extensions. Has anybody else noticed (and worked around) that?
