Hey all, I am looking for a little advice on a lightweight SaaS offering to protect my top-of-funnel user sign-ups coming from my website. Recently, we’ve been getting more and more bad signups with fake email, etc. It could be a coincidence, but it seems to coincide with the recent wave of ChatGPT (not sure if relevant - maybe the recent advancements with AutoGPT..?).

I was trying to find something that I could put in front of my user sign-up flows to see if I could weed them out more (save me money emailing, advertising, trying to convert, etc) and came across FullContact’s Verify products. Their “match” offering, accepts user provided input, and tells me if the sign up information looks suspicious or not. So far seems to be providing decent results in recommending when to introduce some friction vs not.

Anyway, my trial is ending next week and I was curious if anyone has experience working with FullContact or this product? Here are the relevant links if you’re curious. Appreciate the input in advance.

* I signed up here for a trial account here originally: https://platform.fullcontact.com/register/offer/docsidfvf

I can relate to your concern regarding fake sign-ups. As a small business owner, it's been frustrating to deal with fraudulent activities -- I've wasted so much time pruning my CRM and marketing to bots... While I haven't personally used FullContact's Verify products, I took a look at their website and API docs, and it seemed worthy of checking out -- I just signed up for a free trial and will post results. Their Match offering sounds promising. Thanks for sharing!

I can't see fullcontact.com's pricing, that means it's expensive, isn't it?

We've built our own inhouse but look for 'disposable', 'temporary', 'burner' email matcher APIs like https://verifymail.io/ or https://www.block-disposable-email.com/
