Have you been able to achieve outsized returns in markets?

I'm not sure this is the answer you're looking for. But when I was 20 I started a business. At the time I had about $10k in the bank which I quickly depleted while not earning a salary. For 10 years I put all my effort into it, ignored the stock market, and re-invested as much revenue as possible into growth.

Not in the short term.

Just be disciplined... dont buy anything you want to sell within 5 years, and don't buy something in the middle of a hype wave, don't buy anything stupid, hold your breath when the market drops, and you can beat the NASDAQ fairly easily.
