Anyone from Google here – how do I stop YouTube showing me soft porn?

YouTube has decided I like watching girls from TikTok with bouncy boobs.

It is now flooding my feed with them, and similar videos.

This is not good because there are children watching YouTube with me.

I've done everything I can to fix it - I've hit "don't recommend channel" literally hundreds of times, and "I don't like this video" hundreds of times. I logged on to Google and followed instructions online for how to clear this up but Google seems to want it to be really hard to do that sort of thing and I failed.

Sure it's the softest of soft porn but I still don't want YouTube suggesting it to me.

I have now given up and the kids get to see YouTube's constant suggestions that we watch TikTok girls with big bouncy tits.

Sigh.

Turn off YouTube recommendations. On https://www.youtube.com/feed/history, click "Pause watch history," clear the existing watch history, click "Pause search history," and clear the existing search history.

Bonus: It's easy to leave them off permanently :-) You can opt out of other Google data collection on https://myaccount.google.com/intro/privacycheckup/

(Note: if one views those URLs with a content blocker enabled, the toggle buttons may not appear. If you don't see those choices, pause the content blocker, reload the page, and you'll see them.)

Is it possible that someone you are unaware of has access to your YouTube account? Sometimes YouTube is wonky with their suggestions, but to this consistency that you stated is irregular without actually consuming that content.

Invidious is an alternative UI that completely gets rid of the "shorts" garbage, so you might want to try that.

Make a new account, possibly a kids account.

Family share it if you are paying the YouTube subscription.

what's you tube, I got so many vids from tpb that i don't know...

however, you can watch you tube vids through bing, which I think is like a proxy? so maybe it has a different recommendation algo
