It depends on the application. Are you aware that there are a lot of different types of gamers? If a gamer wants to play those specific AAA games that are heavy on requirements then considering a console might be something they do. If however they don't really want those games then a PC with a less capable GPU is all they need. I have never seen actual statistics that show the differences in spending power of these groups.
