Will AI change core education?

With the ability to train models omitting certain parts of an education curriculum I would think it will become increasingly more objective how much some of the more controversial parts of our core educational system exists.

E.g, does a model trained with classical literature really outperform other models that omit it in things like creativity?

I think AI will change education because of chat tutoring.

For parents who care about getting the best education for their kids, they should know that mastery education is far superior to classrooms for learning any curriculum. Kahn Academy has adopted GPT assist already. In short, AI replaces teachers and tutors.

Core curriculum doesn’t necessarily need to change, but parents can add in whatever thry think is best for their kids: custom curricula.

In short, school will be for social time; AI will be for learning and tracking progress.

For those students without responsible, pro-active parents, I‘m afraid that things will only get worse unless public education takes a very different course.
