What's the easiest way to get legal advice?


I've never contacted a lawyer before and I wanted to know if there is an easy or modern way to do this these days.

In the United States, many local bar associations operate free referral services. You call a phone number (or go to their website), outline generally what the legal issue is, and maybe what your budget is, and they will try to find you a lawyer (or lawyers) who are willing to talk to you.

Most likely easy and/or cheap will get you the same results.

(i.e. you get what you pay for and having good lawyers is worth the costs)
