Using both Linux and macOS, how do you hande the Cmd vs. Ctrl pain?

I used to be a Linux user and switched a few years back to macOS because of work. Now I started using both systems at the same time (Arch, gnome-shell & Catalina). And the Cmd-centric keyboard shortcuts are now burned in my muscle memory too deep. Please help. Do you have any keyboard mappings, utilities or other tricks and tips to make it less painful to switch between the two systems?

I remap the caps lock key to Ctrl or Command and I use it. It's closer to my fingers and bigger, and more useful at an alternative command or control than a caps lock.

What I mean is make a new muscle memory.
