If you start adding conditions, then it is no longer a UBI, but more like a tax credit.

Yes, we should have a separate country for UBI and its supporters. Let's make it Colorado. That way, if you want to live off UBI, or you think UBI is a good idea, you can go live there. Everybody else gets to live life without it.Edit: Or I suppose we could just make it Alaska. Durrr. But let's have a Second Alaska that does it with taxes instead of oil.
