Best site hosting and email solution?

Question

I have been using hostmonster since early 2000s. Back then it was family owned business. It has since sold to a larger firm.I use to get unlimited domains and email for a few dollars a month. Now I am up to $18 a month for the same services.What is your solution to unlimited domains and email for those domains? I am curios if there are lower cost options that just work with little maintenance.

I use Fastmail and have been happy with them. If you&rsquo;re super privacy conscious then there is protonmail as well. I think most services charge per user though, although with Fastmail you can setup aliases across multiple domains.

Really any cheap VPS provider with cPanel should do what you are asking to provide unlimthed domains, aliases, users, mailboxes, catch alls, forwarding, etc. if you are not looking for anything more complex than IMAP support. Just be sure to set all your DNS/DKIM/SPF up correctly and you should be good to go.

I really like Cloudways, but it's not going to be a price cut from where you're currently at. It starts at about $23/mo.It's sort of a managed VPS service. It provides the power and flexibility of a VPS (like DigitalOcean, etc) with the ease-of-management of a traditional shared host.

Netlify is one of the easiest for basic hosting, and free* for individuals.I don't think they do emails. At a budget of $18/month, you could probably register Gmail or do a dirt cheap (but ugly) one with Namecheap for a few cents a month.

I have my domains via Google Domains, web hosting on Digital Ocean, and email I have a free grand-fathered GSuite. I would switch my email to a different provider but you can't beat GSuite for free (at least for now).

Zoho works well for me, pretty cheap and full featured. I think it&rsquo;s $2-$3 per month for unlimited domains.
